About Direct Debits
When you create an account with us and place your first order, you will set up a Direct Debit as part of the process. This is because - unlike a regular shop - your orders will be continually supplied and delivered over time. This means we bill you at the end of each month, and the best way for both yourself and us is to use Direct Debits - which are intended for this purpose.
This site does not record, accept, or store any of you payment details; these are handled by SmartDebit.
"You have an active Direct Debit"
If you see this message at the top of the page, this is because you have successfully set up a Direct Debit account with us and it is linked to your Mead Farm Foods Ltd account. This does not mean that you will be billed each month, unless you have had orders delivered in that month. Simply having a Direct Debit linked to your user account on our website.
Cancelling a Direct Debit
If you no longer wish to have deliveries from Mead Farm, please cancel your orders. You do not need to cancel your Direct Debit Instruction if you think you'll order from us again in future, and you should not cancel your Direct Debit Instruction if there is still outstanding balance to be paid on your account.
